Common questions
How do I log a past trip?
Open Timeline, tap Select, choose the date range, then add a log for the relevant country. The fastest way to back-fill missing travel history.
Why does Waymark ask for background location?
The app checks which country you wake up in and which country you end the day in. That only works reliably if iOS allows background access.
How do I export my records?
Open Reports, choose a date range and format, then export CSV or PDF. Reports are generated on the device.
How does iCloud sync work?
It's optional and tied to your Apple ID. When enabled, your records and goals sync through your own private iCloud container, not a Waymark server.
How do I delete all my data?
Deleting the app will remove all local data. If iCloud sync was on, you can also remove the app's data from Apple's iCloud storage settings.
What should I include in a bug report?
The country involved, the date or range, what you expected, and whether the record came from automatic capture or a manual edit.
